Alex Sinclair is a San Diego-based, award-winning comic book colorist and one of the most celebrated and widely published colorists in the history of American comics. A graduate of the University of San Diego, Alex has spent over two decades building a body of work at DC Comics that touches virtually every major character and storyline in the DC Universe — earning him the 2016 Inkpot Award at San Diego Comic-Con, one of the comic book industry's most prestigious honors.

His DC credits read like a masterclass in landmark comics publishing: Batman: Hush (with Jim Lee and Jeph Loeb), Justice League, Blackest Night, Flashpoint, Dark Knight III: The Master Race, Superman Unchained, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Suicide Squad, Justice League vs. Suicide Squad, Astro City, and Arrowsmith — titles that collectively span some of the most important and collectible runs in modern comics history. Beyond DC, he has lent his color work to Marvel Comics, Image Comics, and various other publishers, cementing his reputation as one of the true masters of his craft. When not coloring comics, Alex teaches art classes at the San Diego Zoo — a testament to a creative range that extends well beyond the page.
