Creees Lee (Hyunsung Chris Lee) is a Korean-American comic artist and illustrator based in New York City, and a graduate of the School of Visual Arts — one of the most respected illustration programs in the country. A regular presence at San Diego Comic-Con and New York Comic-Con, Creees has built his career from the ground up through convention appearances, commissions, and a dedicated online following, before breaking into mainstream comics with an official Marvel debut on Marvel's Voices: Identity #1.

His Marvel credits have grown steadily since — spanning interior pencils and inks on Invincible Iron Man, variant cover work on Moon Knight: Black, White & Blood, original card art for Marvel Snap, and a variant cover for X-Factor for Unknown Comics — the same retailer who commissioned his NiFe WARS cover. Beyond Marvel, his credits include work for Image Comics, Dynamite Entertainment, Chapterhouse Comics, and Absolute Comics (White Widow), with his most recent ongoing project being Lab Raider for Black Mask Studios. Early in his career he also successfully funded his own art book Ribbit Ribbit through Kickstarter — a 36-page collection of original work that signaled his ambitions as both artist and creator.

His Unknown Comics retailer exclusive variant cover for NiFe WARS Issue #1 continues an established relationship with one of the most active retailer exclusive programs in the industry — and marks another step in a career that has been quietly and consistently building toward the top tier of comics illustration.
