Katie Cook is an American comic artist, writer, and illustrator from Michigan, and one of the most beloved all-ages creators working in comics today. A graduate of the College for Creative Studies in Detroit with a BFA in Illustration, Katie has built a career that spans virtually every corner of popular culture — from a galaxy far, far away to Ponyville and beyond.

Her credits read like a who's who of licensed comics publishing: Star Wars trading card art (30th Anniversary, Galaxy 4) and web comics (The Clone Wars) for Lucasfilm; the long-running, bestselling My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic series for IDW Publishing — a run so beloved it earned her a literal cameo as a pony on the TV show; illustrated children's books ABC-3PO and Search Your Feelings for Disney/Lucasfilm; and comics work for Marvel, DC, BOOM! Studios, and the Jim Henson Company (Fraggle Rock, The Storyteller). Her contributions to My Little Pony landed her on Bleeding Cool's Top 100 Power List of people in the comic book industry in both 2013 and 2014. Most recently, she is the creator of Nothing Special — an original all-ages adventure webcomic running on Webtoon and now in print from Ten Speed Press.
