Find me on:

Paris Alleyne is a Toronto-based comic book colorist, illustrator, and creator — and one of the most decorated colorists working in independent comics today. A graduate of Max the Mutt Animation School's Illustration for Sequential Arts program, Paris brings a deeply considered approach to color that has earned him recognition at the industry's highest level: in 2020, he received the Eisner Award for Best Colorist for his work on Afterlift — written by Daredevil, Spider-Man, and Sentinal writer Chip Zdarsky — cementing his place among the elite colorists of his generation.

His credits span IDW Publishing (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles/Ghostbusters, GI Joe, Captain Canuck, Riftworld), Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Books, and ComiXology Originals, where he reunited with the Afterlift team — writer Chip Zdarsky and artist Jason Loo — for The All-Nighter, a vampire superhero series subsequently optioned for development by Amazon Studios. Beyond client work, Paris is also a creator in his own right, with original work featured in Black Comix Returns and his own independent series Haven — projects that speak to his deep commitment to representation and the legacy of Black comic book artists in the industry.

His color work on the Caanan White blind bag cover for NiFe WARS Issue #3 brings Eisner-winning craft to one of the franchise's most collectible variants.
