Sajad Shah is a Miami-born, South Florida-based self-taught comic book artist whose career spans over a decade of professional work across some of the most recognizable properties in the industry. Growing up on Saturday morning cartoons, comics, and cereal — as he puts it himself — Sajad channeled that lifelong passion into a professional body of work that now includes credits at DC Comics, IDW Publishing, Ablaze, Archie Comics, and Zenescope, among others.
His credits include interior and cover work on Brimstone and The Borderhounds (Hound Comics, where he also served as Vice President), Batman/The Maxx: Arkham Dreams (IDW), Transformers: Lost Light (IDW), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (IDW), FlyBoy (the series created by acclaimed Chicago artist Hebru Brantley), and contributions to both the Walking Dead 100 Project and the TMNT 50 Project. Most recently, he has delivered cover work for DC Comics' flagship Absolute Batman series — one of the most high-profile DC titles currently on stands — through PCB Hobby, the same retailer who commissioned his NiFe WARS cover.
His PCB Hobby retailer exclusive variant cover for NiFe WARS Issue #1 adds another bold entry to a career that has always been driven by a deep, authentic love of the medium.
