Find me on:

Sebastian Cheng is a Malaysian Chinese comic book colorist based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, and one of the most versatile and widely published colorists working across mainstream and independent comics today. He has worked on major titles for DC Comics, Marvel Comics, Dark Horse Comics, Blizzard Entertainment, Activision, IDW, Valiant, Dynamite, Titan, Zenescope, and Upper Deck — a client list that spans virtually every tier of the industry.

Sebastian broke into the industry through Hong Kong comics, working on the bestselling Storm Riders (Fung Wan) before crossing over into the U.S. and Australian markets. His mainstream credits include colors on Star Wars: Obi-Wan for Marvel, the World of Warcraft comic series for Blizzard Entertainment, Transformers and Call of Duty for Activision, and cover and interior colors on Carbongrey for Image Comics. Most recently, he stepped in as series colorist on Isom #3 for Rippaverse, succeeding Gabe Eltaeb — one of the most high-profile colorist transitions in recent independent comics history.

His color work on Elton Thomasi's blind bag cover for NiFe WARS Issue #3 brings that same depth of craft and international pedigree to one of the franchise's most collectible variants.
