Ademir Leal Joins NiFe WARS as Exclusive Artist

We are thrilled to announce that Ademir Leal is now the exclusive artist of NiFe WARS. In comics, NiFe WARS is the only book series he draws.

The Artist Behind the Kamen Arc

If you have read NiFe WARS #3, you have already seen what Ademir brings to the table. He pencilled and inked the issue that opened the Kamen Arc.

From NiFe WARS #4 onward, Ademir takes on the full interior art: page layouts, pencils and inks. Going forward, his is the visual voice of the NiFe WARS universe.

Who Is Ademir Leal?

Ademir is a Brazilian concept artist, illustrator and comic artist based in Salvador, with over a decade of experience across comics, video games, illustration and advertising.

His comic credits include Inanna: The Name She Lost from Vault Comics, co-written by Tim Seeley, along with interior and cover work for Arkhaven Comics. Fantasy, mythology and world-building run through everything he draws, which makes him a natural fit for NiFe WARS.

Why Ademir

Ademir isn't a household name yet. And that is part of why we're so excited.

First, we believe we have found a talent who is going to blow up over the next few years, and we want NiFe WARS to be where collectors first saw it happen.

Second, he cares. Ademir is passionate about this world and obsessive about detail, and it shows on every page he turns in.

Third, his character. Ademir is an incredibly kind and warm person who genuinely loves the universe we have created and is proud to bring it to life. He is a pleasure to work with, and his professionalism is second to none.

From Script to Page

Every NiFe WARS page starts with our script. Ademir reads it and begins with layouts: rough sketches that block out each panel, the camera angles, the pacing and the flow of the action across the page.

Once the layouts are locked, he moves to pencils, building out the characters, environments and every piece of tech in full detail. Then come inks, where he defines the final linework that gives each page its weight and depth.

It is an enormously complex and time-consuming process, and NiFe WARS makes it harder. Our scripts are lore-heavy, our characters are intricately designed, and we hold ourselves to a high standard of visual language. Ademir meets that standard page after page.

What's Next

NiFe WARS #4 is done and will be released in December 2026. NiFe WARS #5 is already in the works with Ademir at the helm. Follow along on our socials and keep an eye on the news page for first looks at his pages.
