Today we're announcing NiFe WARS Metal Cards Issue 01, the most premium collector product in the NiFe WARS lineup. Real metal cards, six finishes, four cover artists, and only 50 copies per variant.
Each issue of NiFe WARS comics will be accompanied by its own Metal Cards issue, featuring the same artists and covers pressed into metal. Issue 01 is the first.

What is a NiFe WARS Metal Card?
Every NiFe WARS Metal Card is exactly what it sounds like: a real metal card. Each one is pressed with original cover artwork from the NiFe WARS comic series in one of six premium metals. They're the size of a standard trading card, unbendable, and every single one carries an embedded NFC chip. The artwork mirrors the cover variants from the comics, transferred into a metal format.
Every card is also embossed. The NiFe WARS logo is raised, as are certain elements within each artwork. Melcrose's cyborg parts, the metallic edges of weapons, and other signature details across the four covers sit slightly above the surface of the card.
The four covers
Metal Cards Issue 01 features four cover artworks, each from one of the artists behind NiFe WARS Issue 01:
Sergio Acuña is the lead artist of NiFe WARS and the visual architect of this franchise. Sergio's credits span DC, Marvel, BOOM! Studios, Netflix, and HBO, and his work defines what NiFe WARS looks like to the world.
Bruno Abdias is a Top Cow Talent Hunt winner with cover credits at DC, Marvel, and Image Comics, recently featured in Titans, Witchblade, and The Darkness. Bruno is on the fastest rise in comics right now, and his Metal Card is one of the most compelling pieces in the set.
Mostafa Moussa has 25+ years of credits at Marvel, DC, Image, IDW, Dark Horse, and Hasbro. One of the most decorated artists in the industry, and his NiFe WARS Metal Card is his latest statement piece.
Bella Rachlin is the traditional painting powerhouse behind Marvel's Upper Deck collector card sets. Bella's hand-crafted originals are already in the hands of the most serious collectors in the hobby, and she plays a special role in the boxed set.
The six metals
Every cover exists in five different metals in the standard run, plus one sixth metal that only exists inside the boxed set. Six completely different materials, six completely different objects.
Onyx. Deep black metal with a striking contrast. The darkest and most dramatic of the six.
Silver. Classic brushed silver. Clean, premium, timeless.
Oro. Gold-toned metal. The warmest of the six and one of the most visually striking across all four covers.
Copper. Rich copper with depth that shifts with light. A standout at any angle.
Virgin. Raw art, no metallic color treatment. The artwork against bare metal, nothing between you and the original image.
White Metal. The rarest metal in the lineup and exclusive to the boxed set. Bella Rachlin's cover artwork rendered as a sketch in white metal. A one-of-a-kind finish that exists nowhere else in the Issue 01 run.

Four covers, five metals in the standard run, 50 copies of each variant, totaling 1,000 cards. Then there are the 12 White Metal sketch cards, all Bella Rachlin, each exclusive to a boxed set. Grand total: 1,012 cards worldwide. Never reprinted.
Every single card is physically stamped LTD to 50 (or LTD to 12 for the sketches), and every card carries an embedded NFC chip. The exact number in your specific card's run, your 07/50, your 31/50, is only revealed when you claim it through NiFe WARS Collect. Nobody else holds your number.
Two ways to own Metal Cards Issue 01
There are two ways to get your hands on Issue 01 cards, and both have real advantages. The collection is small enough that you can't go wrong either way.
Option 1: Buy singles on Whatnot and eBay Live
Every card not sitting inside a boxed set is available as a single, exclusively during our live auction shows on Whatnot and eBay Live. There is no other way to get individual cards. They don't appear on the online store. They don't appear anywhere else.
The advantage of singles is the provenance history that ships with them. Before a card is packaged, the live show host, a NiFe WARS founder, claims it on NiFe WARS Collect and digitally signs it. Only then does the card ship to you. When it arrives, you claim it to your own profile, and Collect now shows that your card was previously owned and signed by a founder, permanently on record.
Singles are auctioned live. If you get outbid or miss a show entirely, you'll have to come back for the next one. Follow both channels now so you're notified the moment a show goes live.
Option 2: Buy the Collector's Boxed Set
Each boxed set contains all 20 standard cards (every cover in every metal), plus the exclusive Bella Rachlin White Metal sketch card that exists nowhere else. Twenty-one cards, one complete Issue 01 collection, no hunting required.
The advantage of the boxed set is completeness. You get every card in the standard run in a single purchase, plus the sketch card, plus the presentation format that turns Issue 01 into a display piece. Cards in the boxed set are not claimed or digitally signed by the founders. That's the tradeoff.

Every card is NFC-chipped and verified on NiFe WARS Collect
Every one of the 1,012 cards in Metal Cards Issue 01 carries an embedded NFC chip. Hold your phone near the chip, tap the notification that appears on your screen, and the card is claimed to your NiFe WARS Collect profile at collect.nifewars.com.
Everything activates at the moment you claim:
Authentication. The chip verifies your card is genuine, tied 1:1 with that specific piece at the factory.
Serial reveal. The card says "LTD to 50," but Collect shows you the exact number, your 07/50, permanent and yours.
Provenance history. Every owner your card has ever had is on record, and you become the next name in the chain.
Leaderboard points. Every claimed card earns rarity-based points that stack across your collection.
