What's Inside Issue #2
Issue #2 is a story about impossible choices. Melcrose has to send Lumina with Kaelen — stripping herself of her Cipher AI to keep her brother alive. Their father Varek makes his final stand at the house, alone against a wave of Abboritions and something far worse behind them. And in the fire and smoke, Emperor Temeluchus finally steps into the light — the primordial god-being who has been hunting for what's inside Melcrose since the dawn of time. Five years later, she stands face to face with him. Against the being who killed her father. Against pure darkness itself.

Every cover is original artwork commissioned specifically for NiFe WARS, from artists whose credits span Marvel, DC, Image, Disney, IDW, Dynamite, Skybound, Netflix, and Upper Deck.
Serg Acuña — Interior Art & All Five Holo Chase Variants
Serg Acuña is the lead artist on NiFe WARS. He penciled, inked, and colored the entire interior of Comic Book #2, and is the artist behind every holo chase variant in the run — Nickel, Iron, NiFe, Gold, and Adallium — plus one of the five 1/1 sketch covers.
Serg's credits include DC Comics (Nightwing, Birds of Prey, The Flash, Batman: Urban Legends, Dark Crisis: War Zone), Marvel, BOOM! Studios (WWE, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly), and Netflix's Love, Death + Robots and Scavengers Reign. His work on Issue #2 — the Temeluchus reveal, the pink Adallium eyes, the moment Lumina detaches from Melcrose's blade — is some of the most emotionally charged work he's ever produced for the franchise.

Bella Rachlin — Variant Cover /758 & 1/1 Sketch Cover
Bella Rachlin is the painting powerhouse behind Marvel's Upper Deck collector card sets — including the Marvel Unbound series, where her hand-painted originals are some of the most chased pieces in the entire trading card hobby.
Her Issue #1 variant cover was one of the most sought-after pulls in the launch. She returns for Issue #2 with a new painted cover and a 1/1 sketch cover — a second chance to own her work in this universe.

Bruno Abdias — Variant Cover /900 + FLIP /900 + 1/1 Sketch Cover
Bruno Abdias is the Brazilian artist who won the 2022 Top Cow Talent Hunt out of nearly 4,000 submissions — a record-breaking field for the program. Since then his career has exploded: DC's Titans, Detective Comics, Kal-El-Fornia Love, Cyberforce: Shootout, and White Tiger: Reborn.
For Issue #2, Bruno delivered a single stunning piece — a vertical composition with Temeluchus looming on top and Melcrose facing him from below. Then we did something special with it: we created a FLIP variant — the exact same artwork rotated so Melcrose sits on top and Temeluchus below. Same cover, two ways to display it, two different collector moments. It's the first flip variant in the NiFe WARS run and one of the most fun formats in the modern hobby. Bruno also contributes one of the five 1/1 sketch covers.

José Renato Soares — Variant Cover /800 + Virgin /400 + 1/1 Sketch Cover
José Renato Soares is a Brazilian illustrator and concept artist whose richly detailed, painterly work bridges concept design and sequential storytelling. His work is instantly recognizable — cinematic composition, deep color, and a level of atmospheric detail that makes every panel feel like a still from an animated film.
José is also the lead FANTASY artist for the upcoming NiFe WARS Trading Card Collection — his role in the franchise extends well beyond this comic. His Issue #2 variant is his first cover contribution to the comic line, and includes both a standard cover /800 and a rare virgin edition /400 (no logo or title — pure art). He also contributes one of the five 1/1 sketch covers.

Peter Smith — Variant Cover /600 + 1/1 Sketch Cover
Peter Smith is a Florida-based illustrator whose credits span Disney, Marvel, DC, IDW, Dynamite, Image, and Skybound. He's the founder of Crimson Fable Studios and the creator of The Chronicles of Zelaria — a fantasy universe that's built him a serious independent following of his own.
Peter joins the NiFe WARS Issue #2 roster with a variant cover and a 1/1 sketch cover. His involvement is the kind of signal that adds up: when artists at his level start choosing to work on this franchise, the industry is paying attention.

Rare Variants & Blind Bag Breakdown
The rarity ladder is locked in — same across every Blind Bag Issue we ever release. What changes with Issue #2 is the cover pool and the sketch count.
The most common variant this time is the Bruno Abdias standard at 900 copies. In the wider comic industry, 900 already qualifies as rare on day one — and it's just the entry point here. The chase ladder tightens fast: 299 Nickel Holos, 199 Iron Holos, 99 NiFe Holos, 30 Gold Holos, and 10 Adallium Holos at the very top.
Then there are the sketch covers. Five one-of-ones this issue — one for each cover artist on the roster. Every sketch is printed on premium leather paper, which gives it a weight and feel that nothing else in the run comes close to. Whoever pulls a sketch owns the rarest object we've ever produced in NiFe WARS.
The count is provable at every tier.
Because every copy is NFC-chipped, every number in the print run is verifiable. Not "we promise there are only 10 Adallium Holos" — verifiable.
